Dr. Carli supports CJR through human trafficking research, HT-RADAR collaboration, kNOw MORE! research, and university partnerships. She previously co-chaired the County’s Human Trafficking and CSEC Advisory Council Research Subcommittee.

Dr. Gates founded HT-RADAR and the County’s Research and Data Committee. His groundbreaking research helped define the scope of sex trafficking in San Diego and led to the creation of kNOw MORE, a prevention program reaching over 10,000 people.

Bernadette Winter-Villaluz
Bernadette helped transform HT-RADAR into a professional research network by developing its foundational systems, processes, and events. She launched HT-RADAR’s first research conference and supported CJR’s growth through community development, diversity, and equity work.
